Carré des sciences, run by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, provides theatres and services for the organization of scientific meetings. It is situated on the site of the Ministry where Ecole Polytechnique was located until 1976. It is conveniently located right in the centre of Quartier Latin, on Paris left bank (5th district, 75005 post-code).
Access is easy by public transport. The nearest underground stations are Maubert-Mutualité (Metro, line 10, 5 mn walk), Cardinal Lemoine (Metro, line 10, 5 mn walk) and Luxembourg [RER (Express Regional Network), line B, direct from Charles de Gaulle airport, 10 mn walk].

You must have your passport with you when accessing the workshop site.
A PC running Windows XP and accepting presentations (Microsoft PowerPoint 2003 or Abode Acrobat 7) on a USB key only will be available on site.
Duration
The workshop will start Wednesday 2nd April 2008 at 14:00 and finish Thursday 3rd April 2008 at 14:00 after the organized lunch (from 12:30 to 14:00).
Charge
The meeting will be organized free of charge (including lunches and the dinner, excluding travelling and accommodation costs).
A dinner will be organized on Wednesday 2nd April 2008 evening.
